sorry okay what now all right so before I begin I just want to say I want to keep this pretty informal you know so feel free to jump in if you have comments questions if you disagree with me you know which hopefully you will you know so okay so I'm the first presentation here and I kind of like being the first because we're just getting introduced to the class so I have a chance to kind of say my own opinions my own viewpoints on why we study film why we're studying philosophy of film um and so we've all done the reading you know so I kind of want to present my own views my own reactions to the reading you know I agree with a lot of it disagree with some of it I understand hopefully most of it and I'm sure I misunderstood some of it but I mean it definitely brought up a lot of questions in my mind and hopefully my my talk will bring up some more questions that we'll go over um through the rest of the term because I can't I can't possibly an...
