um welcome to the Center for advancement studies um I'm so happy to see you all here there's a bunch of unfamiliar fa again unfamiliar faes every time is really important um so because there are people here who don't know what we do I'm just going to quickly tell you what we do and I'm going to give you a little bit of biographical information on our guest Starling and then um we are an organization uh sort of we're we're a small artist Community inside inside the School of Architecture here um we have the program has three parts uh our visiting artists our artist fellows and our Mt student residencies um when artists present their work um they also do ay doing here spend today um walking around looking at um differents and tomorrow it's a pretty interesting way for us to integrate um what we're doing as MIT and Inu to the prac very interesting artists um once artists do a site visit they come to us with a proposal for longer project an...
